HEEHRA California Rebates Are Available
What is HEEHRA?
The Home Electrification and Application Rebates (HEEHRA) Program provides rebates to low-to-moderate-income Californians for new efficient electric equipment.
The rebates are funded by the federal Inflation Reduction Act. HEEHRA rebates will be administered by the existing TECH Clean California initiative and available to homeowners through TECH Clean California-certified and HEEHRA trained contractors.
How Do I Save?
HEEHRA rebates available through TECH Clean California will help Californians save money on energy bills, improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve indoor air quality.

Register for an account (see below)

Verify your annual household income based off of number of people in your home

Work with a Tech Clean + HEEHRA certified contractor
Benefit of A TEch Clean + HEEHRA Certified Contractor
While some HVAC contractors are Tech Clean contractors, they are only eligible to provide you with the Tech Clean Rebate.
A contractor who is certified for both programs are able to provide you with the Tech Clean rebate AND the HEERHA rebate.
HVAC contractors must go through the required trainings to qualify, so make sure you ask before you buy!

What Savings do You Qualify For?
Here Are The Qualifying Guidelines
SAVE $4,000
California residents with single family household incomes between 80% and 150% area median income
SAVE $8,000
Californians with single family household incomes less than 80% area median income are eligible for up to $8,000.
Eligible Homes & Equipment

Eligible single family homes must be in California, be an existing home (not new construction), and are defined as 4 or less units.

It includes manufactured/mobile homes, duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and individual condominiums.

Rebates are available for new heat pump heating, ventilation, and conditioning (heat pump HVAC) systems in existing homes.
Household income must be verified through the portal link below to confirm customer eligibility for the appropriate rebate amounts.
